Evil Deadwas Arielle Carver O’Neill’s first foray into horror, both as an actress and as a member of the audience. Most recently, her significant other, Christian Charisiou, starred in the Hayes Theatre production of musical Cry-Baby. O’Neill is not particularly prominent on social media, but she does update her Instagram regularly enough to show that she has spent the last couple years celebrating holidays with friends and championing the success of those closest to her. Considering SAE Institute is listed as the film company, it is possible O’Neill was participating in Brydi’s thesis project. Brydi graduated with a Bachelors degree in film at SAE Institute Australia, Melbourne this year. Frances has been in the short film scene since 2014. Hookers And Blow, which came out January 31 st, was directed by actress-director Brydi Frances. After three seasons of putting on an American accent, the short gives O’Neill an opportunity to return to her natural Australian inflection.
